Huskers honor Tom Osborne at his final home game

Tools

Saturday's Huskers game against Minnesota was not only Senior Day, but was also Tom Osborne's final home game as the school's Athletic Director.

Osborne helped lead the team, alongside head coach Bo Pelini, on the field as fans showed their appreciation for the years of service and dedication to Nebraska athletics.

Fans on one side of the stadium held up signs that spelled out "Thanks Tom." While others on the field spelled out "Huskers."

The Huskers won 402 games while Osborne was associated with the program as an Assistant, Head Coach, and Athletic Director.

On January 1st, Osborne will retire after five years as Athletic Director.

He will be replaced by former Miami Athletic Director Shawn Eichorst.
