It was indeed another busy day at the legislature with a number of bills being introduced. Those include:

LB 171 sponsored by Senator Dave Bloomfield would provide for an expedited concealed handgun permit process for applicants who are victims of domestic violence.

LB 186 sponsored by Senator Mark Christensen that would restrict rules and regulation authority of natural resource districts.

And LB 181 sponsored by Senator Bill Avery which would not allow anyone under the age of 8 to ride a motorcycle.

Tuesday Nebraska Governor Dave Heineman will address a number of topics including the budget in his annual state of the state press conference.
