Legislature continues tax modernization talks

Still no vote, but the Nebraska Legislature continued its tax talk today.
They're discussing the creation of the tax modernization commission which would be made up of the revenue committee.

"It will look at six elements in grading the tax system, fairness, competitiveness, simplicity and compliance, stability, adequacy and the inner relationship of various components of the tax system," said Senator Paul Schumacher.

If approved, a group of senators would make up the committee.
