A Nebraska jewelry staple will be closing its doors. Brodkey's Jewelers has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy and will close all of its stores.

According to multiple published reports, the nine stores owned by the company, including the one at Cimmaron Plaza in Hastings, as well as ones in Grand Island, Lincoln, Norfolk, and Omaha are set to close their doors.

There is no word when the closings will happen.

The original Brodkey's opened in Omaha in 1980.
