Mannheim Steamroller concert rescheduled in Kearney

Interstate 80 was shut down around 8:00 Wednesday night from Lincoln all the way to the Interstate 76 junction near Big Springs.

Portions remained closed until just a few hours ago.

A look at the interstate at the Grand Island / Highway 281 interchange shows the roads looking clear now but they were a mess earlier meaning that the musicians with Mannheim Steamroller couldn't make the trek to Kearney.

Thursday night's Mannheim Steamroller Concert at the Viaero Event Center is cancelled.

The concert has been rescheduled for December 20th, 2013.

All tickets will be honored at the rescheduled date. Refunds will be offered beginning January 4th.
