Men jailed for armed robbery in Kearney

Two central Nebraska men are in Buffalo County Jail Monday morning after a Friday morning armed robbery.

24 year old Joshua Lewis of Grand Island and 19 year old Jason Warrington of Kearney were arrested for armed robbery and use of a deadly weapon to commit a felony.

Kearney Police Officers were dispatched Friday morning to Good Samaritan Hospital to meet with a 20 year old man who being treated for a possible gunshot wound to his leg.

The victim told officers he answered a knock at his door when two armed suspects entered wearing ski masks and bandanas took property and an unknown amount of cash.

Authorities located the suspects vehicle about 2 hours later and made the arrests.
