Some people call them big boy toys, but members of the Grand Island Modelers Association say it's fun for the whole family.

From old to new, military to jets, there's all kinds of planes at their showcase in the Conestoga Mall.

Each of these planes exists in life-size form.

These are small scale models and all of them can fly.

They're remotely controlled by someone on the ground.

"Most of the guys in the club have been working on building their airplanes through the winter and it gives them a chance to show them off before we take them out after the weather breaks and things warm up a little bit we'll be out to our field," said Bob Dekok.

The showcase is free to the public. You can find it inside the Conestoga Mall again all day Sunday.
