It may not seem like it today, but spring is on the way.

That means we'll be seeing more and more motorcycles on the roads.

The Iron Horse Bike Show started today, kicking off the motorcycle season.

Motorcycle enthusiasts flocked to Fonner Park to see the latest and greatest for 2013.

Bike Show hosts say with warmer weather on the way, it's important to think about safety.

"We just want people to be aware of us and just keep their eyes open for us because we are a lot smaller than the cars and just to let them know that we're out there," said show coordinator, Tom Gallentine.

Over 40 motorcycles were showcased of all different makes and models at today's event.

Weather hurt today's turnout. The show is scheduled from noon until 6 p.m. Sunday, pending weather.
