Names surface for new lieutenant governor position

The search for Nebraska's next Lieutenant Governor continues as Governor Dave Heineman receives recommendations of names to fill the vacant position.

Former State Senator Tony Fulton said he is interested in the job.
Fulton is just one of five people being mentioned for second in command.

Former state senators Chris Langemeier and Phil Erdman, Bellevue Mayor Rita Sanders and Kerry Winterer, CEO of the state department of health and human services have all been mentioned.

Former Lieutenant Governor Rick Sheehy resigned February 3rd after it was revealed he made thousands of phone calls to women using his state cellphone.
