Nebraska Republicans push to end unicameral

Things at the Capitol in Lincoln could change if state Republicans have their way. Word from the GOP Convention in Grand Island has the party wanting to end the non-partisan unicameral and go to a more traditional legislature with political party affiliations attached.

According to GOP Chairman Mark Fahleson, it's been the party's platform for the past eight years.

He says the non-partisan nature is seen as a façade.

State Democarts are looking at as a bad idea comparing it to bringing Washington DC to Lincoln.
