There's a new place to dine in Grand Island, and a new place to look for work.

The Olive Garden opened Thursday morning, and is still accepting applications.

The Grand Island location is one of the newest Olive Garden's out of more than 750 nationwide.

"As far as our staffing goes, we brought 180 new jobs to Grand Island," said General Manager Roy Ussary. "I don't want to say it was a struggle, it was fun getting everybody hired that's a lot of people to get hired and trained so its takes a little bit of time."

Ussary says they are still accepting applications for the restaurant that is located right off Highway 281.
