Next Senate debate set for Kerrey and Fischer

Even before their debate at the Nebraska State Fair, people were asking when Deb Fischer and Bob Kerrey would debate again. Friday we can confirm the second date: Sunday, September 30th.

This debate will be held in Eastern Nebraska in Omaha. It's being sponsored by the Omaha Chamber of Commerce and KETV.

Just like the last one, this debate will be televised.

It'll be broadcast at 6:00 p.m. on September 30th.

And if you're looking for the two U.S. Senate Candidates to get fired up like they did August 25th, good news.

Fischer's campaign manager told Nebraska Watchdog Friday that the debate should be lively, given their clear differences on issues in the race.
