Obama gun control measures draw local concern

Tools

President Obama Wednesday made it official: he's pressing Congress to pass the most comprehensive set of gun control measures in U.S. history. And the National Rifle Association fired back with a video that even some gun enthusiasts say crosses the line.

We are also getting reaction Wednesday night from a local gun shop owner. Clark Williams with Old Market Fire Arms in Hastings says guns aren't the real problem:

"They're blowing smoke. No matter what they are going to do here, it's not going to make a difference until they take care of the mental health system. The people that are doing this, and I say the people not the guns, people are the problem. I said it before and I'll say it again. Until we get these people help it's going to happen. Whether it's a thirty round mag or a seven round mag in a gun, it's going to happen. They could do the same thing with a vehicle... only worse."
