Obama slips in Nebraska polls

Tools

Hurricane Sandy is putting a damper on campaign stops for the presidential candidates with just one week to go until the general election.

And when it comes to figuring who will win the 2 electoral votes in Nebraska, Politico is reporting Obama's hopes are beginning to fade.
That's according to a new survey by the Omaha World Herald.

It shows Mitt Romney leads 52 percent to 38 percent statewide and 49 percent to 44 percent in the Omaha-based 2nd district.

That's the district that's been closely watched since the 2008 election, when it narrowly voted for Obama.

In September, the race was deadlocked at 44 percent in the 2nd district.
