Omaha fast food employees forced to work part time

Tools

Some 300 fast food employees in Omaha, Nebraska are getting their hours cut. Their bosses say the new health care law is to blame.

The Wendy's employees, who work at 11 of the fast food restaurants in the area are getting their hours cut from full time to part time.

Those franchise owners say the affordable health care act requires them to provide health insurance to full time employees, which they can't afford.

The hour reduction will not impact any of the managers at those restaurants.
