A motorcyclist is killed-hit by a car head on. The driver is now behind bars facing multiple charges.

Among them, lying to law enforcement about who was behind the wheel.

The Hall County Sheriff's Department says 21 year old Britteney Baker of Grand Island was headed west on Capital Ave near Shady Bend road this afternoon when she crossed the center line and hit a motorcycle head-on.

The operator, an 80 year old man from Grand Island, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The sheriff's department says when they arrived on the scene, Baker told them the driver had fled on foot.

Baker was arrested for not having a license, driving left of center, false reporting and motor vehicle homicide.
