Oregon Trail Rodeo donates to cancer center

The Oregon Trail Rodeo has made a big donation to the Morrison Cancer Center this week and it's all because the crowd was Tough Enough to Wear Pink.

Every year the rodeo holds a special fundraising night during Labor Day weekend.

Everyone is encouraged to wear pink to the event and money raised that night goes to helping make life a bit easier for cancer patients.

This year the $2,183 donation will help buy an automatic blood pressure cuff.

When patients receive chemotherapy, their blood pressure is checked every five to fifteen minutes. The device will help nurses be able to help a number of patients at one time.

Next year's Tough Enough to Wear Pink night will be August 31st.
