Parents welcome newborn on 12/12/12
If you haven't heard yet, Wednesday's a very special day: 12-12-12. The last repeating date of the century. A lot people were booking weddings on this day hoping for some extra luck, and Mary Lanning in Hastings had 4 babies born Wednesday.
For this Lincoln elementary school teacher it was an unexpected surprise. Jacie and Brandon Bockstadter were expecting their little bundle of joy around Christmas Eve, but Landon James had other plans. He was born at 11:12 this morning (an hour later would have been pretty cool). The early birthday on 12-12-12, for this family is rather fitting. "Well, it is kind of neat because Brandon's birthday is on 7-7-77. It's kind of a little family thing," said Bockstadter. The proud parents say welcoming their son into the world was a nice, early Christmas present. We should mention that Mary Lanning had four 12/12/12 babies born. There were three at St. Francis. |
