Pipeline poll shows Americans divided over issue

Tools

We're still months away from a decision on the Keystone XL Pipeline. But, there's one thing clear at this point, there's no definitive answer from Americans on whether they're in favor of the Pipeline proposal.

In a recent poll by Politico, over 5,000 voters were asked how they feel about the Keystone XL pipeline.

40 percent of people polled say it's a good idea. While, 41 percent say it's a bad idea.

15 percent of people responded by saying they don't know enough about the pipeline. And, 3 percent are not sure.

Last week a number of pipeline opponents were arrested for chaining themselves to the fence outside the White House in Washington.
The final decision on the pipeline is in the hands of President Obama.
