Present Patrol wraps up for area kids

The toys are gone from the News 5 set because they've been gathered up and are being given to families in need. This was the 15th year for News 5's Present Patrol. And it's allowing around 150 local kids to have a much merrier Christmas this year.

The gifts are being set out at the Lincoln Park Fire Station for parents to hand pick the presents they need for their kids. They can even get them wrapped as well.

We want to thank the firefighters, the Midwest Medical, Hastings Police Department, Emergency Management, and of course everyone that gave to the Present Patrol to make it a big success.

Some deliveries are also set for Wednesday around 6:00 pm, but those hinge on the weather which could make it hard for Santa to get his sleigh out on the road.
