After being put on hold for several days, the recall petition against Mayor Vavricek, is back up and running at the Grand Island Library.

Last week the recall circulator Jeb Wolsleben, closed the site, due to the unexpected death of his father.

Saturday morning activity at the signing site resumed.

Wolsleben tells News 5, as of today, there are 1,500 signatures.

Nearly 3,300 signatures are needed by October 14th for a recall election.
