Santa visits seniors in downtown Hastings

You're never too old to sit on Santa's lap and some local seniors proved that Thursday night.

Santa took a break from the North Pole and made a stop at the Kensington in Hastings.

It was their second annual family soup super. Residents got the chance to spend time with family and friends.

It was a night filled with quality family time, Christmas music. But, most importantly, residents and their family got to hand their Christmas wish list to the big guy in person.

"They love it. You know how long it's been since they've seen Santa or sit on his lap and tell Santa what they want for Christmas," said Kensington program director Rhonda Colbet.

Christmas is just 11 days away.
