Semi-SUV crash leaves one dead
There was a deadly car crash in Grand Island Monday morning. A 72 year old Grand Island woman died when a semi hit the passenger side of her SUV.
It happened around 9:30 at the intersection of 281 and 13th Street. The woman was the only person in the SUV. She was transported to St. Francis hospital, where she later died. The accident is still under investigation, and the Nebraska State Patrol was brought in for reconstruction. The control box for the lights in the intersection was damaged, so stop signs were put up and traffic detoured. |
