I-80 is back open Saturday night after an accident involving two semi's that had the west bound lanes closed for several hours.

According to the Nebraska State Patrol, the accident happened about a mile east of the Henderson exit.

One of the drivers was life flighted from the scene to a hospital in Lincoln.

The other driver was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries.
NSP says it appears one of the semi's rear-ended the other.

"At this time the cause of the crash in unknown, other than the fact that it is obvious that the driver rear-ended the second driver," said Sergeant Dan Bartling.

West bound traffic was stopped for about an hour and a half while the crash was being invested. It has since reopened.
