Senator Fischer speaks out on spending cuts

Nebraska Senator Deb Fischer is reacting to the across-the-board cuts that went into effect Friday as a result of the sequester. In a video released on YouTube entitled "Stop the Insanity", Fischer said spending cuts in general are not the problem:

"The problem that I have and that most Nebraskans share is that these cuts don't carefully target this wasteful spending. Instead, some in Washington appear intent upon maximizing the amount of pain caused by these cuts all to ratchet up political pressure to raise taxes again on hard working Americans."
