Senator Johanns criticizes fiscal cliff plan

In a conference call with reporters Thursday, Senator Mike Johanns says the President's plan is too reliant on new taxes. The Nebraska Republican said Speaker Boehner offered a compromise that Johanns agrees with; but the real solution will come from spending cuts:

"We cannot raise enough revenue to deal with the spending that is going on no matter how much revenue we hit rich people for we could probably take everything they earned and we still have a spending problem."
