Flood isn't the only name in the race for the Republican nomination
Lieutenant Governor Rick Sheehy has already filed his paperwork to run for Governor in 2014.

News 5 caught up with Sheehy to get his reaction to Flood's announcement:

"The electoral process is what we all work on so, you know, what I will do is continue to focus on the job I've been doing as Lieutenant Governor. And that's what I need to do no matter who announces that they're getting into the race."
