Snowstorm causes fatality on Highway 34

The snow started falling around 1:00 pm and it hasn't stopped since then causing at least one fatality Wednesday night.

The Hall County Sheriff told News 5 that one person's vehicle went off of Highway 34 Wednesday afternoon, re-entered the road, and was struck by a semi.

And that's not all. Interstate 80 has been closed in some areas.

School is cancelled for a lot of kids Thursday and that's good news because, some roads departments have pulled their plows off the roads.
