Also in that report, the state's new accountability test results showing student improvement and growth in Reading and Math during the 2011-2012 school year.

The scores show 74 percent of Nebraska third through eighth and 11th graders as proficient in reading - up from nearly 72 percent last year and 67 percent of those students as proficient in math - up from nearly 63 percent.

Nearly 67 percent of Nebraska 5th, 8th and 11th graders showed proficiency in Science. However, the test was administered for the first time to students this spring and there are no comparable scores.

We will have much more on this report including local school district rankings tonight on News 5.
