Storm leaves tracks over Kansas, Missouri

The same system that buried us here in Nebraska blanketed Kansas, too. In the small town of Hays, road crews were out before dawn clearing area roads.

Further east, the scene was much the same. In St. Joseph north of Kansas City, high winds and blown snow created near white out conditions.

And Kansas state troopers responded to dozens of traffic accidents across the state including one in Wichita.
