Car accidents are the leading cause of death among America's teenagers.

But State Farm and the Nebraska State Patrol are trying to change that statistic.

Celebrate My Drive was held at the Nebraska State Patrol Training Academy Saturday.

The mission was to show local teenagers the dangers of drunk and distracted driving.

They also pointed out how small decisions, like wearing your seat belt, will help you survive a car accident.

"With the many distractions of texting and the accidents that happen with that, this is a good opportunity to [inform] the students that are just newly driving,"said State Farm Agent, Greg Sanchez.
