The Nebraska County Music Festival kicks off this week

If you love country music and you're looking for some toe-tapping and boot-stomping, you're in luck. The 32nd Annual Country Music Festival takes place this week.

The Nebraska Country Music Festival kicked off it's first night of the Country Music Showcase.

Nebraska's best country artists, songwriters and performers, who have been inducted into the local, regional and national Hall of Fame, say the festival is more than just a rocking good time.

"It gives local entertainers the chance to get on stage and perform and show their talent, which sometimes we don't get that," said country artist, Curt Shoemaker.

"It's music from the heart," said country singer, Jessica Karr. "It's a lot of stories about real life experiences, more so than anything."

The festival will be hosted at the Adams County Fairgrounds starting Tuesday, October 16th through Saturday, October 20th.
