Halloween is only a few days away, but Sunday kids got the chance to show off their costumes a little early.

More than a thousand kids made the Circle Drive area of the Hastings College Campus a haunting place to be.

It was the annual Trick or Treat Street.

The trick-or-treaters were in a costume parade and played games, including Gutter Ball, Spooky Walk, and Fishing Pond.

Even Bosco, the new Hastings College mascot, was there to meet the kids and pose for pictures.

"It's really important for us to partner with our community, as well a our local alumni, to get people on campus or back on campus if they have been away for a while," said Matt Fong, Chief of Staff at Hastings College. "We've been doing Trick or Treat Street for about 10 years and every year it seems to get bigger and better."

With such a large turnout, Fong says that there may be plans to increase the number and types of activities offered in the future.
