Viewers pick favorite Day in the Heartland; farewell to Dennis Kellogg

News 5's Dennis Kellogg joins us tonight to help us say goodbye to 7 years of a Day in the Heartland. Viewers voted for their favorite story. The results are as follows:

Sandhill Crane Photography finished in third with 17 percent.

Basement Car Museum was in second with 22 percent.

And Cave Pool story won with 27 percent of the votes.

An Alma family whose home is on lakefront property at the Harlan County Reservoir knows some good spots to swim – but their favorite isn't anywhere on the lake.
