Water conservation remains priority for Nebraska farmers

Nebraska officials say dry conditions will require many farmers along the Republican River to limit their water usage more next year.

The extra conservation measures will ensure enough water flows downstream to Kansas.

The Nebraska Department of Natural Resources says the
Upper and Lower Republican River NRD's will need to impose additional water conservation measures next year.

The Middle Republican NRD, however, will not.
