More details emerged in another developing story. Two years ago Denise Withee was convicted of dumping dead and dying dogs in a cornfield outside Grand Island.
Earlier this month we reported Withee failed a probation compliance search. She had 13 dogs at her Iowa residence.
Well, Withee was supposed to turn herself in at the Hall County jail by 5:00 p.m. Wednesday and was a no show.
News 5 spoke with District 9's Chief Probation Officer Clay Shutz Friday to see if she has since turned herself in. She has not.
In fact, Shutz says that Withee's Iowa attorney requested that personal matters be taken care of before she serves her time and that could take from 30 to 90 days.
Withee will be required to serve 120 days in jail.
She is scheduled to appear in court February 2nd at 10:30 am.
But Shutz's says it's a possibility that they may ask for a continuance.

Very simple , starve her and dump her in a field just like she did the dogs and all will be even....crude but justice would be done...
