Woman held at gunpoint forced to drive around Grand Island

Police are investigating the reported kidnapping and release of a 24 year old woman late Monday night in Grand Island.

Police say the woman called police early this morning saying a man kidnapped her at gunpoint around 9-30 last night and forced her to drive him around town until around midnight.

Police did not disclose if the woman escaped or the man let her go.
They did say she was not physically harmed.

Police have not released a description of the man and say the investigation is ongoing.
