A 22 year old who initially lied about being the driver in a fatal head-on crash could spend two decades in jail. Brittany Baker was charged with motor vehicle homicide last June.

Baker crossed the center line and hit 80 year old Donald McCarville's motorcycle head on killing him.

It happened about a quarter mile east of the Shady Bend Road intersection on Capital Avenue.

That's not all. She initially told officers that the driver of the car had left the scene. However, after police searched the area, she admitted to being the driver.

Along with motor vehicle homicide, Baker was also charged with not having an operator's license, driving left of center and false reporting.

Her sentence: 18-20 years in prison.
