Lorra Ann (Warren) Richards, 50 years of age, of Holdrege, Nebraska passed away on Monday, November 26, 2012 at her home in Holdrege. Lorra was born December 6, 1961 in Denver, Colorado, the youngest of three children born to Claude W. and Irene (Greening) Warren. She attended school in Grand Island, Nebraska and received her secondary education from McCook Community College and University of Nebraska-Kearney.
In her early years she was a homemaker and when she returned to college, her focus was in counseling. More recently she was tutoring adult learners to help them study for and take the GED. She was a lover of all animals, but had a special place in her heart for cats.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Lorra is survived by her daughters: Brianne Bayer and her husband, Timothy of Lincoln, Nebraska, Lindsay Bentley and her husband, Benji of Lincoln; one granddaughter, Isabella of Lincoln; one sister, Nancy Weaver and her husband, David of Prairie Village, Kansas; one brother, Ernie Warren of Columbus, Nebraska; nephew, Jason Weaver and his wife, Dana of Topeka, Kansas; niece, Claudia Dawson and her husband, Brent of Kansas City, Kansas; and other relatives and friends.
There will be no visitation as the family is honoring her wish for cremation.
