Celebration of Life Service for Andrew Scott Davis will be conducted from the Westmark Evangelical Free Church, north of Loomis, Nebraska on Friday, November 30, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Rick Smith, officiating. Private family interment will be at the Highland Cemetery at Bertrand, Nebraska.

Andrew Scott Davis, 33 years of age, of rural Bertrand, (formerly of Kearney, Nebraska) passed away on Tuesday, November 27, 2012 at his home in rural Bertrand. Andrew was born April 27, 1979 at Kearney, the youngest of three sons born to Scott Allen and Renee Sylvia (Smith) Davis. He was baptized and confirmed from the Westmark Evangelical Free Church. Andrew received his education from the Bertrand Community School, graduating with the class of 1997. Andrew then pursued a career in Landscaping Design, studying at the University of Nebraska at Kearney and Sterling Community College in Sterling, Colorado. His landscaping talent touched many lives as he designed many unique creations for his clients.

Andrew had a special place in his heart for animals; he was a true outdoorsman that loved wildlife.

Andrew was preceded in death by his grandparents: Jack and Florence Davis and Darell Smith.

He leaves to mourn his passing his parents: Scott and Renee Davis of rural Bertrand; two brothers: Tony Davis and his wife, Suzanne and Reggie Davis and his wife, Shannon and their sons, Will and Ben all of Kearney; his grandmother, Merna Smith of rural Bertrand; aunts and uncles: Robert and Linda Steinbrink of rural Loomis, Duane and Debbie Smith of Beatrice, Nebraska, Rock and Jo Davis of Kearney, Nebraska and Lyons, Colorado; and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.

There will be no visitation.

A memorial has been established in his honor and will be designated at a later date.
