Denean L. Olson, 41 of Grand Island died Wednesday, December 5, 2012 at St. Francis Medical Center.

Memorial services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the New Life Community Church. Reverend Stan Davis will officiate. Burial of ashes will be in the Grand Island Cemetery.

To honor Denean’s wishes cremation has taken place. Family will be greeting friends one hour before service time. All Faiths Funeral Home is serving the family.

Ms. Olson was born July 2, 1971 at Grand Island.

Survivors include her son, Nathan Suck of Lincoln; daughter, Ashleigh Suck of Lincoln; parents, Linda and Darrel Olson of Grand Island; brother and sister-in-law, Chad and Jaime Olson of Grand Island; sister and brother-in-law, Tara and Elijah Johnson of Grand Island; grandmother, Melva Jean Larsen of Grand Island and brother-in-law, Thomas Puente of Grand Island.

Other survivors are uncles, aunts, nieces and nephews and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her sister, Karmen Puente; grandfather, Eddie Larsen and grandparents, Virgil and Lena Olson.

Denean was raised and received her education in Grand Island graduating from Grand Island Senior High, class of 1989. She was married to Jeff Suck for 10 years.

Denean was a manager at Olson Furniture Store until its closing. She started Grub and Grill Lunch Stand at Olson Auction.

Some of her enjoyments included music, making people laugh and most of all helping others.

A memorial fund will be established in memory of Denean.
