Marian M. Pedersen the daughter of John A. and Lena Plambeck Huebner was born February 8, 1927 on a farm south of Portsmouth, Iowa. She departed this life on Thursday, December 13, 2012 at the Good Samaritan Center in Superior, Nebraska at the age of 85 years.,

Marian attended St. Mary's school at Portsmouth, IA graduating with the class of 1944. After graduation, Marian moved to Omaha, NE where she met and married her first husband Vinton Clark. Marian was employed at a grocery store and was working at United Airlines when Vinton was offered a job in the banking business at Osceola, NE. Marian and Vinton were in Osceola for five years. In April of 1967 the couple moved to Hardy, NE and Vinton and Marian were both employed at the Hardy State Bank. Marian continued to work at the bank after the death of her husband in 1975. Marian retired in 1979 after her marriage on May 5, 1978 to Herbert O. Pedersen.

Herb and Marian enjoyed their retirement years spending 16 winters in Mesa, AZ and two trips to Europe, one in 1980 and again in 1982 , where they visited relatives of Herbert in Denmark.

Marian was a member of the Hardy Union Church, Women's Christian Union and the Harmonettes.

Marian is preceded in death by her parents, husbands, Vinton and Herbert; brothers William, John (Shine) and Robert; sisters Clementine Willems, Pauline Ohlinger, Helen Leinen and Elma Wright and step son Dean Pedersen.

Survivors include her brother Harold Huebner of Portsmouth, IA; step daughter Marjorie Renz of Hardy, NE other relatives and a host of friends.

Services will be held this Monday 11:00 AM, December 17, 2012 at the Williams Funeral Home Chapel in Superior, NE. Missie Wilt will be officiating. Burial will be held in the Shelby Cemetery, Shelby, Nebraska. Condolences may be sent to the family at wmsfh.com. Williams Funeral Home of Superior, NE is in charge of the arrangements.
