Alta N. Tumbleson the daughter of George and Elizabeth (Castor) Messersmith was born July 22, 1918 at Gering, Nebraska. She departed this life on Saturday December 22, 2012 at the Superior Good Samaritan Center at the age of 94 years.

Alta was united in marriage to Wayne L. Tumbleson on December 21, 1945 at Belleville, KS. This union was blessed with the birth of four children three sons and a daughter. Alta was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.

She is preceded in death by her parents and husband Wayne on June 2, 1975.

Survivors include: sons Michael Tumbleson and wife Joann of Lincoln NE; Tom Tumbleson and wife Ginger of Lincoln, NE; Jeff Tumbleson and wife Rae of Superior, NE; daughter: Jean Schukei and husband Curt of Loveland, CO; 6 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren other relatives and a host of friends.

Funeral services will be held this Friday 10:00 AM, December 28, 20123 at the Williams Funeral Home Chapel in Superior, NE. Pastor Jim Stark will be officiating.
