Patricia A. Psota, 83 of Grand Island died Saturday, December 29, 2012 at St. Francis Medical Center.
Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Friday at All Faiths Funeral Home. Reverend Darlene Novotny will officiate. Burial of ashes will be at a later date in the Fairbury Cemetery.
There will be no visitation.
Mrs. Psota was born December 13, 1929 at Mahaska, Kansas the daughter of Harry and Mary (Wells) Rose.
Survivors are her husband, Fred Psota and sister, Carol Dragoo of Fairbury and nephews and nieces. She is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Wilma and brothers, Wayne and Jerald.
Pat was raised in Mahaska where she graduated from high school. She was united in marriage to Fred G. Psota on August 29, 1951. She worked at Fonner Park 4-H Café for 24 years. She was also a bartender in the Horseman’s Lounge at Fonner. She worked concessions at Aksarben in Omaha.
Along with her husband she owned and helped with race horses. Her favorite horse was ‘Fly Guy’.
A memorial fund will be established in memory of Pat.
