Sutton resident Ralph Gould, 83, died Thursday, January 10, 2013, at Mary Lanning HealthCare in Hastings, NE.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, January 14, 2013, at Sutton Memorial Chapel in Sutton, NE with Pastor Terry Jorgensen officiating. Graveside services will be 3:00 p.m., Monday, at the Merkey Cemetery in Washington, KS. Visitation will be Sunday, from 2 p.m. - 8 p.m., with family present from 4 p.m. - 6 p.m., at Sutton Memorial Chapel in Sutton, NE.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the Ralph Gould Memorial Fund for the purposes of the Nolde Center.Ralph was born April 24, 1929, to Joseph Squire and Bertha May (Gauby) Gould on his parents farm in Washington County, KS. He graduated from high school in Washington, KS in 1946. He married Beverly June Christenson and they had three children; Vickie, Tammy and Randy. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He loved to fish and garden. He was a man very dedicated to his family.
He is survived by his daughter, Tammy and husband Joe Turner of Waller, TX; son, Randy and wife Brenda Gould of Sutton, NE; son-in-law, Bill Bauer of Grand Island, NE; brother, Marvin and wife Iris Gould of Washington, KS ; 11 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Vickie Bauer; sisters, Neva and husband Earl Andrews; Erma and husband Harold Andrews; Audrey and husband John Andrews and brother, Raymond Gould
