Dave was born October 10, 1943, to Robert Eugene and Eva (Alenxander) Hemphill in Norton, KS.

He is survived by his wife, Susan of Fairfield, NE; special companion, Chopper; daughter Kimberly; 2 granddaughters and uncle and aunt, Lyle and Ila DeYoung of Middletown, OH.

He was preceded in death by his parents, maternal grandparents and paternal randparents.
