Hastings resident, Louise C. (Pavelka) Katzberg, 91, passed away Monday, January 21, 2013 at College View Assisted Living & Memory Support, Hastings, Nebraska.

Rosary will be Friday, January 25, 2013; 9:40 A.M. at St. Cecilia’s Catholic Church, Hastings. Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, January 25, 2013; 10:00 A.M. at St. Cecilia’s Catholic Church with Father Joseph M. Walsh officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, Nebraska. Memorials may be given to St. Cecilia’s Catholic Church. Visitation will be Thursday, January 24, 2013; 10:00 A.M. – 5:00 P.M. at Butler-Volland funeral home, and one hour prior to service at the church.

Louise was born July 11, 1921 in Riverdale, Nebraska to Emil & Grace (Madl) Krepcik. She graduated from Farnam High School in Farnam, Nebraska . Louise married James W. Pavelka; he preceded her in death on October 3, 1983. She married Ralph C. Katzberg; he preceded her in death on August 8, 1996. Louise worked as a secretary for Highway Motor Freight and was the office manager for Beeline Transportation. She was a member of St. Cecilia’s Catholic Church and Altar Society. Louise loved to bowl and garden.

Louise was preceded in death by her parents; and husbands, James W. Pavelka and Ralph C. Katzberg.
