Former Alma resident, Nina Jeremias, 82, passed away Thursday, January 24, 2013 at Bethany Home, Minden, Nebraska.

Private family burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Hastings, Nebraska at a later date. Memorials may be given to Bethany Home, Minden, Nebraska. Livingston Butler Volland Funeral Home & Cremation Center is serving the family. Condolences may be sent to www.lbvfh.com.

Nina was born October 29, 1930 in Concordia, Kansas to Loyal R. & Ina M. (Neptune) Parratt. She moved to Hastings where she met and married Harvey H. Jeremias on December 18, 1948; he preceded her in death on January 1, 1982. She moved to Alma in the 1990’s where she owned and operated the Alma Lanes until her retirement. She was a member of First St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Hastings.

Nina was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harvey H. Jeremias; and sister, Barbara Joan Meyer.
