Shirley A. Buswell, 65, of Cozad, died Wednesday, February 20, 2013 at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney. Family services will be held at a later date. Shirley was born September 16, 1947 in Grand Island to Frank and Erma (Ray) Shriner. She attended and graduated from Grand Island Senior High School. She married Ron Buswell on October 1, 1981 in Kearney. Shirley worked at K-Mart and Morris Press as a proofreader in Kearney. They moved to Johnson Lake and then to Cozad. Shirley enjoyed spending time with family and friends, especially holiday gatherings at the lake. She was an avid bowler.

Shirley is survived by her husband Ron Buswell of Cozad, step-sons; Travis Buswell of Lenexa, KS and Troy Buswell of Grove City, OH, Mother-In-Law Aline Buswell of Topeka, KS, Cousins; Linda Giddings of Kearney, NE Larry Giddings of Kearney, NE, and Amy Smith of Kearney, NE, and numerous other cousins.

Shirley was preceded in death by her parents.
