Timothy A. Blair, 50, of Grand Island, died Friday, March 1, 2013 at Saint Francis Medical Center with his family at his side.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Reverend Michael E. Wetovick will officiate. Inurnment will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Monday at All Faiths Funeral Home with a rosary at 7:00. Cremation will take place following the rosary.

Tim was born January 21, 1963 at Spokane, Washington, the son of Bonnard and Mary (Stokes) Blair.

Survivors include his father, Bonnard ‘Bon’ Blair of Grand Island; the love of his life, Sue Behrle of Grand Island; sons, Nathan Willson (Emily Sonnenfeld) and Johnathan Blair (Megan Hawthorne) all of Grand Island; Katie Behrle of Grand Island; brothers, David Blair of Biloxi, Mississippi and Robert Blair of Grand Island and sister, Darlene Herrold (Dorson Sawyers) of Grand Island.

Also left to cherish his memory are three grandchildren, Deacon Sonnenfeld, Makenna Ostrander and Hopelynn Behrle; nephews, nieces, many relatives and friends; and his two four-legged companions, Manson and Molly.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Blair, February 15, 2012.

Tim grew up and received his education in Grand Island. He was employed with various construction and food service companies including Village Inn, MFS York, The Library Lounge and PMI.

Tim was an avid Husker Football fan. His favorite pastime was cooking and grilling for family and friends. Tim will be remembered for his compassion and big heart.
